So i am updating everyone with some info.
I flew into cairns today.. and boy was it a bumpy ride.. because there was so much stormy weather around..
I will update this with some pictures later on..

Whilst i am currently completing my music page & listening to some great music..
I’d like to give a shout out to Red Bantoo. They are a Byron Bay based band!
They have some great music!
In early december whilst staying at byron bay i was at the Beach Hotel. where they were playing live.
It was the first time i had ever heard them and heard of them.
The music was great! ever since then i have listened to their stuff & infact my mate bought a CD off them that same night.
It was $20! Well worth it! We played it in the car on the way home three times over!!

So i have now completed my First Aid course, which is required for the STCW95 course..
I was going to take pictures of the first aid course, but there really wasn’t anything interesting to take a picture of..
Maybe the most interesting thing was the manikins ..
So 1 course down 3 more to go!!
My STCW95 is booked for the 22nd of feb, which is a fair way off 
i cant wait to do it! i will certainly be taking pictures and videos!
Rainbow Beach, Australia
The most beautiful beach i have ever been to!
If you ever visit Australia, i strongly recommend visiting the Fraser Coast.
There is not much night life in Rainbow Beach, so be prepared to catch up on the Z’s ..
During the day the small ocean side town thrives with activitys such as Sky Diving, Para Gliding & 4×4 Tours which extend up the coast and onto Fraser Island.
Tulio & I stayed at a Backpackers called “Frasers on Rainbow”. The rooms were incredibly simple and have NO AIRCON! The kitchen was a disgrace, I recommend staying in the back packers next door to “Frasers on Rainbow” called “Dingo Backpackers” It is alot nicer and has Aircon in all of the rooms, as it gets very hot!
I will certainly be heading back up there again, but next time will be going over to Fraser Island to experience more beauty and get in touch with my camping abilitys!
4 Sleeps until christmas

With only 4 sleeps until Christmas, i still have not bought any gifts!
My working hours are from 2pm to 12am so its hard to make it to the shops…
The only option i have left is to do all my shopping the day before Christmas!! how crazy?! i know!
This is certainly not the biggest thing on my mind at the moment. Its getting closer to the time i will leave to start my courses in cairns and i have to admit i am getting a little excited!
Over christmas i will spend some time finishing off the website so its up to date.

Getting there slowly…

As probably no one knows, except some of my close friends i will be embarking on a new journey next year.
That journey is to start working on luxury superyachts around the world. I have no idea how or if i will even cope living on a yacht with other crew but i am a go getter and i am keen to find out!
In Janurary 2010 i will be commencing all the courses that i need to attain my first position aboard a superyacht.
Its a slow moving project, as i am working long hours to save for the expensive courses and also the money i will need to live on whilst doing the courses..
I’m looking forward to this adventure and i will be blogging it all here!
